Toni Williams


Community Organizer

Prior to starting at ConnCAN, Toni worked on various freelance assignments providing fundraising consulting specific to institutional advancement and community partnerships, high-end special event management and public relations services to philanthropists, co-founders, Board Members and Executive Directors of non-profit organizations. Recent clients include Gateway Community College Foundation, Student Achievement Through Opportunity (SATO), Jazz on the Vineyard Gala to benefit SATO and the Beta Zeta Boule Foundation.  Prior to her work as an independent consultant, she was Assistant Dean of Students for Multicultural Affairs at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT. In this capacity she managed day-to-day operations of multiple post-grant awards through leadership donor gifts, foundation grants and endowed funds including the Oprah Winfrey Foundation’s Prep School Scholarship and A Better Chance Scholarship Program.

As a current Norwalk resident, a Norwalk High School graduate and the daughter of a retired Norwalk Public Schools Administrator of Alternative Education Programs, Toni has a deep network of contacts with parent, community, religious and political leaders in the Norwalk community plus Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford counties.  While residing in Norwalk Toni served as the President of SONO Arts Celebration’s 25th Anniversary, President of the faith-based organization New Vision International Development Corporation and a board member of Norwalk Communities in Schools. Her extensive background in non-profit leadership development, grass tops mobilization and program management allows her the capacity to build strategic partnerships and develop organizing strategies that further advance ConnCAN’s presence and impact in the Norwalk community.
